I was wondering if you'd give me permission to use this image on a t-shirt design. If you will allow me, the design would be available for public purchase on Redbubble, but I will not be making a profit on the sale of each t-shirt. You will also be credited with the creation of the original image used in the design.

It wouldn't be right if I were to charge the extra commission for material I don't own (MLP) and when using images I didn't make; such as yours. But also because if any of my friends want to buy them then they can get them cheap.

It's kind of difficult to get t-shirts here in the UK without paying a fortune for shipping and the additional cost of commission on most Redbubble t-shirts always seems a bit too much compared to pop-culture t-shirts you could buy in a store. But none of these places sell MLP t-shirts at the moment.

In short, i kind of just want to make cheap t-shirts for us UK bronies and I don't mind at all if I don't make any money from it.

Going to use this in a animation I am making, it will be edited a fair amount, but the content is still yours to begin with, thus I think you do need credit... So how would you like it? A spot in the credits or maybe a annotation when this vector appears?

If you are using credits, you could put it there if you want. It's up to you. I don't really mind at all, you don't even have to credit me if you don't want to.
